Emoji Law and Workplace Harassment
Despite #MeToo, workplace harassment continues a year after the #MeToo was born. How has workplace harassment changed? Does HR need to adapt its complaint review process? Can an emoji create a hostile work environment?
This webinar will review the #MeToo movement 1-year later and provide HR professionals, lawyers and business owners with ideas on how to address workplace harassment. We will further consider the use of language (ex. Emojis) and strategies on responding to legal issues created by employees using social media during and outside work. Finally, we will examine proper investigation protocol and other strategies for lowering your company’s exposure to hostile work environment, harassment claims, and lawsuits.
