Non-Competes Under Siege!

Is there anything more frustrating than training an employee, giving them access to all of your secrets to success, only to watch them leave to work for a competitor? A non-compete might save you this frustration and dissuade the employee from ever leaving in the first place. It can be a stick to punish, but it can also be a carrot to encourage employee retention.

Today the state of non-compete agreements is uncertain. States and the federal government are looking to limit their effectiveness and even prohibit their use.
